St James Park, Newcastle may be hosting the Magic Weekend but here at Leigh East we have one of our own with both our NWML and first team sides in action on Saturday at Ledgard Avenue.

Action gets underway at 1 PM when our North West Mens League side host Leyland Warriors in a Division Two clash. Leyland have recently suffered tragedy when their clubhouse was targeted and destroyed by arsonists and they would appreciate the support of the wider Rugby League community. In their last league game Leyland were just pipped by Wigan St Judes while a valiant effort by East in the cup last week saw them progress.

Following completion of that game the First Team take on Bradford Dudley Hill from 2.30 PM in National Conference League Division Two. Dudley Hill have been going well of late and had an excellent victory over Askam last week.

In addition our bar will be open for refreshments throughout and Live Super League action will be on TV.
